Cate always had a smile on her face when she came up for air while swimming!
During practice, Cate learned the butterfly, freestyle, breast and backstroke. She also learned to dive from the podium to start her laps. The team competed against local summer swim teams.
Caroline, Barrow and Cate joined the summer swim team - the Aggie Outlaws.

We found a steep hill, where we could speed down on our sleds.
Madison joined Cate, Caroline and Greer at White Sands.
Since we were going to be on our cruise during Father's Day, we celebrated a little early!
Caroline attended the Dance Theater Southwest Summer Intensive. When we dropped her off, we spent the afternoon at Explora...what fun!

The morning we left, smoke filled the valley from the nearby fire.
We spent one afternoon playing at the Gila Hot Springs.
We enjoyed just relaxing in the hammock!

Cate wanted to bring some home!
We spent lots of time down by the river, and made a home for the tadpoles and frogs that they found.
We were only able to hike at the Gila Cliff Dwellings, due to a large fire that was only 14 miles away. As our camping trip ended, the fire merged with another fire, to become the largest fire in New Mexico history.
We hiked through the caves that the Mogollon people lived in over 700 years ago.
We hiked the trail to the Gila Cliff Dwellings.
Memorial Day weekend, we met the Binkley and Pollard families at the Gila National Forest for a weekend of camping!
